Movement Medicine offers therapeutic 1:1 sessions, embodied dance journeys, and online somatic practices to help you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and return to your natural rhythm.

1-on-1 Therapeutic Sessions
These sessions combine Dance Movement Therapy, Somatic Movement, and Nervous System Regulation, seeing the body as an important way to express creativity, manage emotions, and connect with the world.

These classes are held fortnightly in Wānaka, New Zealand

About Me

Ceri Blythe, founder of Movement Medicine, is a dedicated somatic yoga & movement practitioner and dance facilitator with over 10 years of experience in this field, and is currently in her final year of her Dance/Movement Therapist Training.

She specializes in creating safe, transformative spaces and sessions where individuals can reconnect with their bodies and emotions through movement and expression.

Her offerings blend therapeutic movement/dance, nervous system regulation practices, somatic practices dance, and art. Drawing on her extensive training - over 600 hours worth of yoga teacher trainings, followed by an additional 300 hours of Somatic Dance training and her current studies to become a certified Dance Movement Therapist.

Ceri's approach integrates free-flowing movement, mindfulness, and creative expression to support self-discovery, healing, and connection. Her work centers around creating spaces where people can feel what’s truly happening in their bodies, learn tools to regulate emotions and energy during challenging times, and expand their capacity for growth and fulfilment.

With a passion for helping people to develop confidence, self-expression, feel a sense of wholeness and emotional awareness.

When we move with awareness, we return home to ourselves.
